This exceptional example of Poul Henningsen’s iconic ‘PH Artichoke’ pendant is crafted from patinated copper. The surface has developed a beautiful, characteristic verdigris over time, which highlights its age and authenticity. The cast steel frame remains in very good condition and shows only minor signs of age. These traces do not affect functionality and instead enhance its distinctive vintage character. This lamp is presented in the largest size ever produced, making it an especially rare and highly sought-after collector’s piece.
