An Akari model «55DD» on «BB3» base by Isamu Noguchi 1970s. Original shade in washi & bamboo rims. Structure in black lacquered metal & pebble base in cast iron and bamboo stem. Cast manufacturer's mark to underside of base 'Made in Japan'. Hand-made form realized by Ozeki Company, Gifu, Japan. Marked with Noguchi signature and trademark red symbol on the shade.
