Art Deco Filigrana Murano Glass Venini Chandelier 1940s

6800,00 €Price

An exquisite chandelier crafted by the renowned Venini glassworks on the island of Murano in the 1940s. This exceptional piece is a fine example of the artistry and technical mastery that made Venini one of the most influential names in 20th-century Italian glassmaking.
The chandelier is executed in the celebrated Filigrana technique, a complex process in which delicate threads of opaque white glass are fused within clear glass, creating an elegant lace-like pattern that highlights the transparency and depth of the material.
Composed of clear and opaline Murano glass, the chandelier features finely bowls, graceful curved arms, and decorative hanging ornaments. The central structure is enriched with sculptural glass leaves accented with a subtle golden tint, lending the piece a sense of lightness, refinement, and movement.
Combining timeless proportions with extraordinary craftsmanship, this chandelier is both a functional lighting fixture and a highly collectible work of art. It serves as a striking focal point, bringing the elegance of Venetian design and the sophistication of Murano glass into any interior.
